Farmers in the Hazen, North Dakota area have started seeding spring wheat and durum. John Weinand says soil conditions are good right now. “It’s been awfully dry here, we finally did get about .60 (of an inch) out of two different recent snows so that’s beneficial. That actually sealed the deal, I think before that, it woulda been hard for things to green up, but now we’ve got some surface moisture.”
