ND Senate Passes Property Tax Bill

The North Dakota Senate unanimously passed property tax reform. There are differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill regarding the primary residence tax credit. The bill now returns to the House to review the amendments passed in the Senate. One amendment asks the 2027 Legislature to consider using the Legacy Property Tax Relief Fund to provide relief to other property types, including agriculture.
