Democrats Have New House Ag Committee Staff Director

Brian Sowyrda is the new Democratic staff director for the House Agriculture Committee. Sowyrda succeeds Anne Simmons, who retired. Previously, Sowyrda was director of external affairs in USDA’s congressional relations office during the Biden administration.
