The market for quality used farm equipment has surged since late February. “We did start to see a little uptick about February 20th for about a month there, dragging on into the end of March for the good condition equipment,” said Greg ‘Machinery Pete’ Peterson. Peterson highlighted a record-breaking sale in Webster, North Dakota, where a 2011 John Deere 9330 4-wheel-drive tractor with 6,934 hours sold for $119,000. “The previous high was $107,000, so this one at $119,000 is kind of an eye-popping strong price.”
