MPCA Seeks Public Input on Feedlot Rules

The public comment period is open for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s proposal to amend the state feedlot rules. The MPCA website says the purpose of this measure is to improve land application of manure to protect water quality and avoid fish kills. Public comments will be accepted until July 22. The last major revision of the feedlot rules in Minnesota was 25 years ago.
