Uncharted Territory

The Minnesota House is tied 67-67. Representative Paul Anderson of Starbuck and Representative Rick Hansen of South St. Paul are co-chairing the House Agriculture Committee. The recent ag committee hearings have been very contentious, but Hansen remains optimistic. “I think we can demonstrate that we can get something done,” Hansen told RRFN. “Growing up on a farm, we get up early and get things done and hopefully we can do that here together in the House. It’s a very unique situation that hasn’t happened since the late 70’s and there are no members here that were involved in that so we’re in an uncharted territory.”
