ECAP Enrollment Begins

Signup is underway for the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program. Up to $10 billion in direct assistance will be available for the 2024 crop year. To simplify the process, the Farm Service Agency will send pre-filled applications to farmers who submitted acreage reports for eligible ECAP commodities. Rather than waiting for the pre-filled form, farmers can apply online or at their local FSA office. The application deadline is August 15.
