Comment Period Reopened for Monarch ESA Listing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has reopened the public comment period on a proposal to list the monarch butterfly as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. The monarch butterfly is found in the lower 48 states, making this designation the broadest ever considered.
