The National Pork Industry Forum was held in Orlando. “A new farm bill and a new administration in the White House have also seen plenty of talk. “The number one thing I think as we’re going through, especially with the new administration on the political side, is really about getting a farm bill done,” said Todd Marotz, a member of the National Pork Producers Council board. “We weren’t able to do that with the last administration, so hopefully we can get that done and specifically address issues within Prop 12 and provide some funding for animal health as far as foreign animal disease is concerned.” Marotz farms at Gaylord, Minnesota.
