Peterson Farms Seed is hosting Cup of Agronomy meetings across the region. “We’re focusing especially on soybean cyst nematode,” said agronomist Kelsey Pellman. “We want guys to be out there testing, be proactive about managing your populations.” The farm economy is a part of the conversation. “A big thing we’ve been hearing is where can I cut costs while still maintaining good agronomics. where can I find that extra dollar? If we can help them find those bushels, we can help them find those dollars.” Seed treatment was described as a low-cost investment with a high return.
