The National Farmers Union presented the Milt Hakel Award for Excellence in Agricultural Journalism to KC Sheperd of the Radio Oklahoma Network. “KC has dedicated her on-air career to informing Oklahoma residents about important issues that impact their livelihoods,” said NFU President Rob Larew. “Radio networks in these rural areas serve as a lifeline for our farming and ranching communities.”
