The retaliation against U.S. agricultural products has begun. China is adding ten percent tariffs on a wide range of ag products, including soybeans, dairy, pork and beef. A 15 percent tariff will begin on Monday on wheat, corn and cotton. Canada has imposed a 25 percent tariff on a list of goods worth up to $30 billion. Wheat, barley, meat and dairy products are on that list. Mexico said it will retaliate but hasn’t released any details. China and Canada have also initiated a WTO dispute against the U.S. tariffs.
