Legislation to increase the sustainable aviation fuel tax credit is moving to the Minnesota Senate floor. Under the bill, tax credits would climb from $7.4 million in fiscal year 2025 to $10 million for fiscal years 2026 through 2029. State Senator Rob Kupec believes this increase in tax credits will help strengthen Minnesota’s position as a leader in sustainable aviation fuel production. “This is a bipartisan bill that extends the length of that tax credit while also bringing in some new technology that can be applied directly into making sustainable aviation fuel.”
