There were nearly 130 companies represented in the International Crop Expo trade show. FMC Retail Market Manager Sam Lockhart said farmers are beginning to queue up for spring. “There’s some optimism out there,” said Lockhart. “Obviously, capital and crop prices are on the top of everybody’s mind, but there’s some options guys can tap into.” Farmers are looking to cut expenses. “The biggest probably talking point we’ve had this year is our zero percent financing option through John Deere Financial. That’s a big deal.” FMC has a new seed treatment to address soybean cyst nematode. A new FMC fungicide in wheat was also highlighted at the trade show. Listen to the interview.
