There was a full house for the Northland Potato Growers Association Research Reporting Conference Tuesday in Grand Forks. Research on new potato varieties, insect management, and storage quality were highlighted. “To be in this game you’ve got to be on top of it, right?” asked Extension Potato Agronomist Andy Robinson. “This is cutting-edge stuff; the growers are trying to learn everything they can to improve their operations and to continue to do what they do because if you don’t improve you’re going to be left behind.”
