Humanitarian food donations through the U.S. Agency for International Development are at risk, but that’s not the case for USDA. Foreign Agricultura Service Administrator Daniel Whitley released a statement saying projects funded by the McGovern-Dole and Food for Progress programs are continuing. Whitley said these projects are feeding hungry people around the world and creating demand for U.S. agricultural products.
