Farm Payments to Boost Farm Income

Net cash farm income is expected to total $180 billion in 2025, up almost $38 billion from this past year. USDA’s Economic Research Service credits this trend to increased direct government farm payments. Farm payments are forecast to increase from $9.6 billion in 2024 to $42.4 billion in 2025.
