The Van Bedaf Dairy in Carrington, Noth Dakota, won the Beef Quality Assurance Dairy Farm award from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. Petr Van Bedaf, president of dairy operations, called it “an incredible honor” and said he is “really proud to represent the dairy industry here.” Lisa Peterson, beef quality assurance specialist, NDSU, emphasized its broader impact. “This is not only an award for the Van Bedafs, but it’s an award for the North Dakota dairy industry and our North Dakota Beef Quality Assurance Program.”
