Minnesota’s Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture has opened its second application period. Farmers in eight additional counties, including East Otter Tail, Kandiyohi, Stevens and Wadena counties, can receive $100 per acre or animal unit. The application deadline is February 14 at the local Soil and Water Conservation District. This is a three-year $80 million pilot program in Minnesota, North Dakota, Arkansas and Virginia.
