American Vanguard, which is the parent company for AMVAC, has gone through leadership changes. “Our historic CEO Eric Wintemute is still the chairman of the board, but he stepped down in his CEO capacity and he was in that role for three decades,” said AMVAC Western Business Sales Manager Micah Scanga. “We had some leadership changes, but the company is still focused on what we do and that is manufacturing.” The company has six sites in North American with five in the United States. Scanga said AMVAC champions traditional brands for the potato market, including its soil fumigants K-PAM and VAPAM. Listen to the AMVAC report from Potato Expo.
