Senate Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Amy Klobuchar is eager to get to work on the farm bill. “Senator (John) Boozman of Arkansas and I have a really good relationship, that’s going to be necessary to not only get through the farm bill, but we’re going to be advocating for Rural America, ” said Klobuchar. “For our farmers, it means making sure that programs that have been working, like the sugar program, is part of any farm bill; year-round E15 is also a high priority of mine.” The four corners, Boozman, Klobuchar, House Agriculture Committee Chair Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson and Ranking Member Angie Craig have not yet gotten together in the early days of the new session.
