The key to animal health is to recognize potential problems early on. For pigs, Pharmgate Animal Health Technical Service Veterinarian Dr. Nic Lauterbach says the first indication may be a drop in water consumption. “You may see pigs that are less active than you would normally expect them to be; you could be hearing a cough throughout some of the population,” said Lauterbach. “Finally, you may see a drop in feed, right?
