The Minnesota Crop Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting on January 29th in St. Cloud. MCIA Executive Director Fawad Shah said the program will include a comprehensive look at the issues surrounding cover crops and identity-preserved crops. With the low commodity prices, Shaw sees more interest in I-P crop production. “I think that would be an excellent opportunity because it’s always good to have options,” said Shah. “When there are options that can bring a little bit higher dollar amount back, that is something to consider.” Listen to the interview.
