Red Trail Energy Sale to Close in Q1 2025

Shareholders with Richardton, North Dakota-based Red Trail Energy have approve the sale of its ethanol plant and carbon capture and storage to Colorado-based Gevo. Gevo is paying $210 million for the facility, which will be used to make sustainable aviation fuel. The sale is expected to be finalized in early 2025.
