WRDA Bill Advances

The House passed the Water Resources Development Act with a 399-to-18 vote. This bill addresses flood protection and water infrastructure. It also includes funding to improve barge navigation on the Mississippi River. The bill now goes to the Senate and is expected to be finalized before the end of the year.
