The 25th annual North Star Classic was held this past weekend in Valley City, North Dakota. Show Coordinator Jaci Cargo says events like the North Star Classic are important for cattle producers and the public. “From the producer’s side of things, we are marketing our livestock so that people can see what we have to offer,” said Cargo. “We’re promoting animal agriculture and the beef industry. I think it’s important for the next generation to see how the beef industry can impact them throughout the rest of their life.”
