According to Reuters, the clean fuel production tax credits will not be finalized before President Biden leaves office. The 45Z tax credits are designed as an incentive for the production of sustainable aviation fuels. The tax credit was due to take effect on January 1. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley said the delayed guidance will hurt the biofuels industry.
