The World Trade Organization Agriculture Committee got an update on global food insecurity concerns at this week’s meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Program predicts a rise in serious food insecurity over the next six months in 22 countries and territories. The FAO called for more market transparency and trade and marketing infrastructure improvements.
