President-Elect Donald Trump is expected to name former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler as the next Secretary of Agriculture. “I think former Senator Kelly Loeffler is an exciting pick for a lot of reasons,” said Tom Sell, Combest Sell and Associates. “She comes from a farming background, raised on a farm in Illinois. I think from her time working closely with former Secretary Sonny Perdue, you can expect strong representation.” South Dakota Farmer’s Union President Doug Sombke had less praise for the pick. “I’m not surprised, that’s all I’ll say. He’s (Trump) going to do what he’s going to do.”
