The sunflower harvest is in the final stages in the Onida, South Dakota area. “I’ve heard anywhere from a ton to 3,000 pounds (yields) so there’s some variance there depending on when they got in and what kind of moisture they got towards the end,” said Tim Luken, general manager, Oahe Grain.
