One of only seventeen individuals nationwide to receive the VIP Citation from the National FFA Organization was North Dakota’s own Doug Vannurden. “It was awesome, it was a lot of fun. It is my honor to be representing North Dakota, I’m humbled.” Vannurden was an FFA advisor for 11 years in Beach, North Dakota and served as North Dakota FFA executive secretary for 23 years. Vannurden is the third person from North Dakota to receive this honor.
