Democratic Contenders for USDA Post

If Vice President Harris moves to the Oval Office, Politico said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack could remain in that role. Vilsack is already one of the longest-serving cabinet officials in decades, but has not ruled out the possibility. USDA Deputy Secretary Tochitl Torres Small and California Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross are also contenders.
