The fall calf run is underway at Stockmen’s Livestock Exchange in Dickinson. “After this week, we’ll go two sales a week on the new crop calves,” said co-owner John Fischer. “It’s going to be about 2,500-3,000 (head) on Tuesdays and anywhere from 4,000-5,000 (head) on Thursdays.” Fischer expects to see most bred heifers going to town because the prices are ideal.
