New money is available to Minnesota livestock producers to help prevent wolf attacks. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has $45,000 available through the Wolf-Livestock Conflict Prevention grant program. The money can be used for the purchase of guard animals, fencing or special lighting and alarms. The applications are due by January 3.
