Gevo Receives Patent for Its Biofuels Process

Gevo has received a patent for its ethanol-to-olefins process. This next generation process has the potential to lower the cost of producing sustainable aviation fuel and other fuels and chemicals. This news follows the acquisition of the Red Trail Energy ethanol plant in Richardton, North Dakota where it will produce ethanol-to-jet sustainable aviation fuel.
