The Minnesota Corn Growers Association is now part of the Minnesota Sustainable Aviation Fuel Hub. This collaboration includes Delta Airlines, Ecolab, Xcel Energy and other organizations to create a certified sustainable aviation jet fuel. “The goal is to reduce the life cycle carbon emissions in aviation,” explains Marlen Dufault, district field manager, Minnesota Corn. “Corn is a great feedstock for that and we’re working on affordability, abundance, sustainability, and working on infrastructure as well.”
