Late blight has been confirmed in Minnesota. “It can wipe out a field of potatoes within a matter of a few days and they can also get in the tubers and cause them to rot in storage,” said Andy Robinson, Extension potato agronomist. “That’s not a disease you want to play around with.” Robinson said it is important to scouting fields this late in the season so growers don’t lose the crop this far in the game.
