North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced applications for grants are being accepted for North Dakota companies that are interested in exporting food products to Taiwan. Some of the products that Goehring noted include beef and poultry, dairy products, tree nuts, edible oils and fats, plant protein, fruits and vegetables, pet food, and other foods. Taiwan is the seventh-largest trading partner of U.S. agricultural goods. A trade mission is planned for late April in order to build relationships to achieve more trading opportunities to Taiwan.
