The South Dakota Corn Utilization Council (SDCUC) has committed $1.2 million towards an expansion of the Swine Education and Research Facility at South Dakota State University. “We’re always trying to support, if not increase, corn demand and grain within the state,” said Jim Ketelhut, SDCUC. “This might be a commitment on our part this year but the long-lasting effects are going to be many years down the road.” The expansion includes the addition of two new wean-to-finish nutrition rooms to the existing facilities.
