As agriculture continues to grow and adapt, the use of data becomes more important for the industry. Keeping that data secure is equally as important. “Not as a way to hide stuff, but just to best protect ourselves in the future,” said Logan Vandermark, SDSU Extension. “One of the big things is not using the same password for everything.” Vandermark says something as simple as this can increase security immensely.
