The poultry processing company, Pilgrim’s Pride, will pay $100 million to settle allegations of conspiring with its competitors. Five poultry companies allegedly shared information about pricing to keep market values artificially low. This antitrust case has been ongoing for seven years. Pilgrim’s Pride is the last company to settle the case and is paying the largest amount of money.
