USDA will update its supply/demand numbers today. The average trade guess for the new crop soybean carryout is 465 million bushels, up from 435 million in July. The corn stocks are nearly unchanged from last month at just over 2 billion bushels. The wheat carryout is expected to total 862 million bushels, up six million bushels from last month’s report. Trade analysts expect the average soybean yield to increase a half-bushel to 52.5 bushels per acre. Corn yields are predicted to top 182 bushels per acre, up more than one bushel from the most recent forecast.
