At the National Strip-Till Conference, three individuals were inducted into the Strip-Till Hall of Fame. The honorees are Jodi DeJong-Hughes of Willmar, Minnesota, David Legvold of Northfield, Minnesota and Bill Preller of Congerville, Illinois. DeJong-Hughes is a University of Minnesota Regional Extension Educator and has focused on soil quality issues for over 25 years. Legvold was the first recipient of the Strip-Till Innovator Award and is a pioneer in strip-till farming. Preller is the founder and president of AGuru Machinery and previously worked in research and development for DMI and Case IH.
