A mini golf course filled every inch of the Minnesota Soybean tent at Farmfest. It was an opportunity to highlight another soybean checkoff success story. “This was a product that the United Soybean Board helped develop,” said Mike Youngerberg, senior director of product development and commercialization, Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council. The SYNLawn artificial grass brings more sustainable solutions for putting greens, playgrounds, pet turf and landscaping. Youngerberg said the soybean checkoff tries to be ahead of the curve and meet the changing dynamics of the marketplace.
