Attorneys general from 11 states, including North Dakota and South Dakota, filed a petition asking the EPA to clarify its rules for state labels. Specifically, the AGs contend state warning labels for products containing glyphosate with information contrary to federal scientific standards would constitute misbranding. This petition claims court action has resulted in a gap in the regulatory system that could result in problems for the states.
