MN Awarded Climate-Smart Ag Grant

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and EPA Region 5 Administrator Debra Shore announced a $200 million grant for climate-smart food systems in the state. This grant expands Minnesota’s Agricultural Water Quality Certification and Soil Health Financial Assistance programs. It also calls for replacing gas-powered vehicles and equipment, such as tractors and freight trucks, with EVs and advanced clean fuel options.
