More than 300 farm groups have signed a letter, calling on EPA to reform its Endangered Species Act. American Soybean Association President Josh Gackle, who farms at Kulm, North Dakota, said the agency is using worst-case scenarios when registering pesticides and imposing unnecessary restrictions. American Sugarbeet Growers Association President Neil Rockstad, who is based at Ada, Minnesota, said EPA is making it harder for American farmers to do their job while doing nothing to protect species.
