With 19 new products in their Xitavo soybean lineup scheduled for sale this fall, BASF US Soybean Agronomy Lead Marc Hoobler is excited about the 2025 sales season. “Twelve of those new varieties were developed by the BASF breeding program, that’s a milestone.” According to Hoobler, the new soybean genetics open the door to a new pool of germplasm that should add an extra layer of disease protection to the farmer’s toolbox. “They’re not only going to provide improved yield performance but also solutions to farmers’ most challenging production issues like Soybean Cyst Nematode and white mold.”
