University of Minnesota Extension is hosting Beef Quality Assurance Training on Tuesday, July 23 in Little Falls, Minnesota. Topics covered include safe handling practices, management skills, and proper vaccine administration. “A lot of things that farmers are already doing, but now they can have the certification for it to ease consumer concern,” says summer intern Addison Hillman. Goals of the training are to enhance profitability for producers, improve the sales and marketing of beef cattle, and uphold consumer confidence in beef.
