The winter wheat harvest has been going well for Rockin R Harvesting. “Yields have been surprisingly well in every state we’ve been to,” said owner Lance Rhodes. “The quality has been pretty good with pretty good test weights. I’ve seen very little wheat under 58 pounds.” Rhodes, who works out of Fairview, Oklahoma, says they’ve been all over the Southern Plains. “Yields have been more or less average; some of the worst wheat was actually in northern Oklahoma, just a little dry there.”
